GEORGE AND FRANCES FOWBLE

George Albert Fowble was born June 5, 1880 in Hollansburg, Ohio. Frances Mildered Keitzer was born Feb 26, 1888 in Monterey Indiana.

George and Frances were married April 28, 1906 in Culver Indiana.

George was a school teacher (taught history) and a school superintendent in Hobart Indiana.

He died May 1, 1952 in Hobert Indiana. Frances died Sept 10, 1972 also in Hobart.

Roberta Kelsey remembers George as a quiet man, not having much to say in gatherings. There are a lot of pictures of their son Donald with Charles Kelsey of nearly the same age (who's mother was Augusta Keitzer Kelsey, sister of Mildred Keitzer Fowble). Both sisters had sons named Edward.
A nice email I received on Oct,17,2003 from William Donald Fowble:

I am the brother of Edward Leroy Fowble. I am William Donald Fowble, the son of George Albert and Francis Mildred Fowble and was born December 18, 1914 in Redkey, Indiana. Ed,(capt) Fowble was killed in a crash into the side of a mountain, after loosing all fuel, and being shot up. His comanding officer was a lawyer living in Kentucky. He has written a book in which he mentions many of the activities of Capt, Eddy Fowble. Edward is buried in the Old Cemetary along with Gerorge Albert, Francis Mildred , Barbara Dault (my daughter) and Marion Kathryn Fowble (my wife of 64 years).

Married Marion Kathryn. Living in Benito Springs, Flordia. They have a daughter named Barbara Dault. They have a son, Larry (lfpepsi@aol.com).


EDWARD LEROY

 Born Oct 28, 1920 and died Oct 3, 1943 in North Africa. He was an Army Air Force pilot and died in a crash.
