Maximo was a member of congress, a deputy then a senator. He was called intendente for the Second Region. That was in the 1940's and 1950's. In her old age, Eufemia lived with Minerva and then with Idalia. She died in Tocopilla.

Vercidio Alejandro Salamanca Valencia died 1998? in Tocopilla.
Vercidio's parents were Alejandro Salamanca y Margarita Valencia (from Jose Vivian Salamanca).

Vercidio was in a family  of three children:
1) Vercidio, married Amalia (5 daughters).
2) Gabriela married a Solis and had: a) Juana Solis Salamanca, b) Rosa Solis Salamanca, c) Ivone Solis Salamanca.
3) A younger sister (possibly Margarita), married Vivian and had: a) Jose (Pepe) Vivian Salamanca (has a jewlery shop), b) ?

Amalia was born June 14, 1922 and died September 24,1970 in Tocopilla. Her crypt in the Tocopilla cemetery is number 2356.
Amalia Venegas Venegas went by the nick name of Teresa. Her last names should have been Venegas Chamorro but Maximo misregistered it as Venegas Venegas.

 Married Raul ? Calderon Sarria. Raul fixes clocks in Tocopilla. He learned how to fix clocks from his father who had a  clock repair shop in Tocoipilla called "Calderon e Hijo". Children:
1) Jovanna Paola (married Ronald ? Marroquin ? and have Ronald and Romina);
2) Cristian Adrian (marriage 1: Lorena Calderon ? and have Raul) (marriage 2: Sara and have Andrea)
3) Jorge Alex (married Ana Maria Vallejos ? and have Jorge Andres).

 Married Alejandro ? Munoz ? "Negro". Children:
1) Idalia Alejandra. Married Ricardo Vergara. Children: Damian and Mateo.
2) Patricio. Married ?. Children: Ariel and Facundo.
3)Juan Carlos has a son, Cristobal.
4)Ximena. Has a daughter, Montserrat.

LAURA

 Married Nelson ? Juica ?. Died 7 Oct 1974. Child: Marcos Alexis,  born 7 Oct 1974, died in Tocopilla (crypt 4508) May 27, 2002. His mother (Laura) died during his birth. Marcos was raised by his grandparents on his fathers side. While Marcos was being born, his father was in prison (just after the coup). Marcos was married and he died in a train accident at the nitrate factory in Tocopilla while his wife was pregnant.

 Marriage 1: Jaime Allende ?. Children: Maria Teresa, Maria Jose.
Marriage 2: Mario Lobos ?. Children: Pablo Ignacio.
