Johann first married Elisabeth Reubling (born ~1680 in Germany, daughter of Johannes Reubling and Elizabeth )on 13 Nov 1699 in Darmstadt, Germany. Thier children were:
1) Christopher Stump was born about 1701 in Germany and died on 28 Oct 1779 in Millback Twp, Lebanon Co, Pa about age 78.
2) Johannes Stump was born about 1703 in Germany and died about 15 Oct 1757 in Heidelberg Twp, Lancaster Co, Pa about age 54.
3) Johann next married Anna Margaretha (Stump)27 about 1710 in New York. Anna was born about 1680 in Germany.

Johann's second marriage was to Anna Margaretha (unknown last name).

(Jones) p 1022 "Johann Georg Stumpff (Hunter List #755) The name Stumpff is not uncommon in Germany, and several families of that surname were located there. Although more research remains to be done, perhaps the emigrant Johann Georg Stumpff was the Master Johan George Stumpf, shoemaker, s/o Master Christoph Stumpf, citizen and shoemaker, who md. 13 Nov 1699 to Elisabetha Reubling, the d/o H. Johannes Reubling, at 6100 Darmstadt (HJ) Hans Gorg Stumpf, his wife, and 2 ch., were in the 6th party of Palatines in Holland in 1709 (Rotterdam Lists)". I have communicated with Henry Z Jones and he advises us not to make the connection of the Johann Georg Stumpff that emigrated in 1709 to the Darmstadt couple without more proof. Henry Jones lists the following as POSSIBLE children of Johann Georg Stumpff 1? Christopher, 2? Johannes, 3? Michael, 4? Casper 5? Abraham, 6?Anna Maria, 7? Adam, 8? Catherine
