Manuel was a butler at Padres Franceses, a private catholic school
in Santiago. Maria was a maid. They had two children: Elsa Ines y
Guillermina Del Carmen.
Manuel and Maria seperated when Elsa was 10 and Elsa never saw her father
again. She never attended school, having to stay at home and take care of
her little sister, Guillermina, while their mother , Maria, was working.
Guillermina married Lautaro Flores and had 7 children: Miguel, Mario, Mercides,
Elena, Amanda, Edmundo y Guillermina. |

Juan Bautista Araya Solano. Born in Santiago on 15 May 1921. Died 7 July
2002, in Santiago. Buried in the Araya family plot in Cementerio General
in Santiago

Information), which was started by Rosauro Araya.
Elsa Ines Cancino Castro was born in Santiago on 19 May 1924. Still living.
They were married in Valparaiso, 14 October 1944.
They had a son, Juan Alejandro, and adopted their niece, Susana Elsa, daughter
of Juan's sister, the deceased Florencia Del Carmen Araya Solano.
Juan was in the Chile air force where he was an armero.
